- Create an Account
To apply to Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology you will first need to create an application account. Once that account is created you will be prompted to select the year in which you will be attending the university. Keep in mind the semester you wish to begin your studies may not be in the current calendar year. You will then be asked to select a student type. The definitions for the student types are listed below:
· Freshman - Concurrent High School Student: Current high school students who wish to participate in OSUIT classes during their high school junior or senior year.
· Freshman - First-time College Student: Current high school students or those who have earned no more than six hours of college-level credit after graduation from high school (excludes credits earned concurrently in high school or credit earned by examination). Submit Application for Admissions, official high school transcript, and immunization records. ACT or SAT test scores are requested not required.
· Transfer Student: Undergraduate student that has earned more than six college-level credit hours after graduation from high school. Excludes current high school students, remedial/developmental courses or pre-college credits earned concurrently in high school or credit earned by examination. Submit Application for Admissions, official high school transcript, official college transcripts from every college attended and immunization records. ACT or SAT test scores are requested not required.
· Readmission (Returning) Student: Undergraduate student that has previously attended OSUIT, but has not enrolled in the immediate past semester. Any student that has graduated or withdrawn from the university must be readmitted to OSUIT. Submit Application for Admissions and official college transcript(s) from any college attended since OSUIT.
· Special Application: Students who wish to enroll in courses without intending to pursue a degree may be permitted to enroll in no more than nine credit hours without submitting academic credentials or meeting the academic curricular or performance requirements of the institution of desired entry. Retention standards will be enforced. Once a student has completed the designated number of hours, the student is required to meet the formal admission or transfer criteria for the institution of desired entry in order to enroll in additional course work.
· International Student: Undergraduate student that plans to attend or transfer to OSUIT on a visa. Applicant must be a graduate of high school or secondary school prior to the program start date. Student must show English proficiency with TOEFL, IELTS or as a native English speaker. All F-1 international students must show financial support for the estimated cost of attendance. - Assessment & Testing
Compass Testing may be required for placement purposes. (All students will be required to take the ACCUPLACER® Assessment unless they can prove proficient in a subject area with the required ACT (19 in the subject area) or SAT scores (480 reading/writing and 530 math) or have transfer credit.)
Grady W. Clack Center - Enrollment
All Admissions requirements must be completed to enroll. Enrollment occurs in the academic department with the student’s advisor. All New & Transfer Students must attend a CowboyUp! New Student Orientation during their first semester as a requirement for continued enrollment.
- Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships
Complete the FAFSA application online or visit with one of our Financial Aid Specialists. OSUIT’s FAFSA school code is 003172.
Scholarships
Students will automatically be eligible for consideration for all OSUIT Foundation Scholarships when their FAFSA application, along with all financial aid paperwork is completed and student is enrolled as a full time student five weeks prior to the beginning of each semester.

All Veterans, Spouses, and Dependents utilizing VA Benefits will need to submit a copy of their Certificate of Eligibility to the VA Coordinator. Find out more information regarding Veteran & Military education benefits.

- Office of the Bursar
Housing deposit, parking permit, meal plans, payment plans, and tuition should be paid in the Bursar’s office. Grady W. Clack Center
- Student ID
After students enroll, they may have their Student ID Card made. Students must present their class schedule to obtain ID.
Welcome Desk of the Grady W. Clack Center - Bookstore
Shop for textbooks, supplies, and OSUIT school spirit merchandise at the campus bookstore located in the Student Union or through the online bookstore.
- Office of Residential Life
Housing Contracts are made at the Office of Residential Life located in the Wilson Commons of Miller-Kamm Dormitories. The deposit for housing is made at the Office of the Bursar.
- Orange Key (O-Key) Account
MyOSUIT is the portal for OSUIT students. Activate your O-Key Account, create an OSUIT email account, check your grades, view your schedule, modify your enrollment, pay your bill, check your email, access the online classroom, and receive OSUIT notifications/alerts all from one convenient page.

New Students

- Submit your immunization records.
Transfer Students
- Complete application for admission.
- Submit official transcripts from high school and all colleges attended.
- Submit your ACT or SAT scores. This step is optional, we request them to be submitted, not required.
- Complete the ACCUplacer (Next Generation) testing: a computer generated assessment administered through the Assessment Center at OSU Institute of Technology.
- Submit your immunization records.
Returning Students
- Complete application for admission.
- Submit official transcripts from all colleges attended since last attended OSUIT.
International Students
- Complete international application for admission
- Submit a copy of official high school transcript, secondary certificate, and/or secondary school final results
- Submit financial certification form
- If English is NOT one of your primary or native languages, submit TOEFL or IELTS results
- Submit a copy of passport personal info page (if available)

Current OSUIT students: If you are looking for a specific course from another institution that you want to transfer to your OSUIT degree, use the Transfer Guides, alongside your desired OSUIT degree sheet, to find course equivalents.
These are tools and guides to help you in the transfer process. The application of your transfer credit toward completion of an Associate in Science, Associate in Applied Science, or Bachelor of Technology degree will be determined by your academic school upon your enrollment. Our academic departments determine which credits will be used to meet degree requirements.
